ABOUT ME
My name is Alexandre Bourque, and I am a graduate in Game Programming from College Bart. My main experiences are in C++ and C# using both Unreal Engine 5 and Unity3D.

I have been working professionally as a Game Programmer for four years and have had the chance to work on multiple prototype projects, as well as shipping a 3D Action Adventure title. Among these games, I have worked on different gameplay aspects like AI, UI, Combat, Animations, Player Progression, Achievements, Online Multiplayer and Console Ports, among others. This role allowed me to explore the many different systems offered by Unreal Engine and Unity, as well as develop my own.

During my spare time, I make proof of concepts for gameplay features in Unreal Engine and Unity as well as develop a small 2D engine for personal uses.

Below is a showcase of the projects I have accomplished during my time in college.
ELEMENTIA
Elementia is a school project I have developed by myself over the course of the three semesters the program offers.
Game design was done during the first semester whilst the last two semester were dedicated to programming and feature implementation.
The game is inspired by Fire Emblem mixed with CCG elements.
The goal is to capture the flag while preventing the enemy team from doing so.

WARLOCK: SOUL WAR
Warlock: Soul War was a project developed by a team composed of me and two other school colleagues.
It was made for the Ludum Dare 44, a three days game jam in which it came into 82nd position overall.
The game consists of sending units towards enemy castle in order to vanquish them all. Spells and upgrades are also availlable to the arsenal.
